Terms of service

Terms of service

Suka is operated by Makree Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number [COMPANY NUMBER], registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. By ordering from us you agree to these terms.

Prices and quotes

Prices shown on product pages are a guide. Your actual price depends on the country of delivery and on how far the piece is taken from the standard build. A written quote from us is valid for 14 days. Prices are in GBP and include import duty and taxes payable on the way to you.

How an order is formed

An order exists once you have accepted our written quote and paid the 50% deposit. We confirm the specification — model, size, finish, drop length and delivery address — in writing before production starts. Please read that confirmation carefully: it is what we build to.

Payment

50% to begin production, the balance before the piece is crated and shipped. We accept card payment through this store and bank transfer for larger orders. Title to the goods passes to you when the balance is paid in full.

Made to order

Each piece is made to your specification. Changes requested after production has started may not be possible, and where they are, they may change both the price and the delivery date. Hand-made pieces vary slightly in colour, finish and glass texture; this is a property of the work rather than a fault.

Installation and safety

Our chandeliers are supplied for installation by a qualified electrician, to the wiring regulations of the country of delivery. We are not responsible for damage or injury arising from incorrect installation, or from fitting a piece to a ceiling that cannot carry its weight. The weight of each piece is stated on its product page.

Cancellations and returns

Governed by our return and refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, photography, films and the Suka name — belongs to us and may not be reproduced without our written permission.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss arising from a delayed installation or a delayed project. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights, or our liability for death, personal injury or fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
